About Us

HPC was founded in 1996 as Hilton Publishing Company by Dr. Hilton Hudson II  and Dr. Herbert Stern inspired by their mission to educate, inspire and foster medical pride in communities that had long been overlooked, ignored or put aside.

Today, HPC is a leading specialized supplier of strategic service solutions, and a publisher and distributor of books, e-books, journals and magazines for K-12 schools, universities, Fortune 500 corporations and healthcare organizations.

HPC is the supplier that companies and healthcare organizations turn to for solutions that reduce operational spending and improve corporate efficiency.

Today HPC is made up primarily of two separate corporate divisions—our division of innovative services that drive efficiency and reduce corporate spending in various categories of products and services, and our publishing division.

Innovative Services

On the service side of our business, HPC is currently a contracted supplier for AdvantageTrust, CoreTrust, HealthTrust, Intalere, Vizient (formerly Novation), Premier and PSMAConnect. HPC also works with K-12 schools, universities, Fortune 500 corporations other healthcare organizations.

Our services support a variety of departments within your organization including corporate supply chain, procurement, materials management, clinical education, library, HIM department, billing and coding, accounting department, supplier diversity, human resources, and employee relations.

Our services include:

HPC saves clients money by centralizing and leveraging high-volume spend on the procurement of association memberships and corporate subscriptions, media products and other content, clinical research, patient education, medical library management and custom publishing and printing services.

HPC creates a standardization of quality and service expectations for our clients and their staff, we eliminate redundancy and wasteful spending, and streamline institutional processes to improve efficiency and control costs.

HPC provides strategic business solutions within our areas of expertise. This allows our clients to focus on their core business objectives while we handle the tedious administrative tasks and process improvement measures to achieve their goals.

Publishing Services

For over twenty years, publishing has remained at the heart of our company’s mission and core values. We attribute the success of our publishing division to all our talented authors and experienced creative team members who have worked closely in partnership every step of the way.

In our publishing division, HPC still operates under our original name of Hilton Publishing and we work to publish new books and information that serve to improve the health, education, awareness and wellness of people everywhere.

We have published print and digital books and other materials on sickle cell disease, heart disease, lupus, nutrition, smoking cessation, weight management, minority health and health disparities in addition to cookbooks, children’s books, biographies, memoirs and inspirational works.

Hilton Publishing works with its authors in true partnership, and through close collaboration, high motivation and commitment on both sides, we have achieved great success. We have worked with reputable authors including Dr. John Ruffin, the founding Director of the NIMHD within the National Institutes of Health, and Lamont Robinson, VP of Supplier Diversity at Nielsen.

Hilton Publishing works with both experienced and first-time authors to produce top quality books and other trade publications with unlimited sales and marketing potential. HPC is unique in the sense  that we began as a publisher and evolved into a service provider yet,  still do both. Our company’s dual nature creates a natural sales process for promoting and distributing products we publish and those owned by companies we collaborate with. Our authors can feel confident in the value and expertise we offer when they choose Hilton Publishing to be their publisher.
